Any Marines out there in Aviation?

I am currently enlisted into the Marine Corps,I ship out for boot camp in three months. I scored a 77 on my ASVAB. Which i was told is slightly above average. I am interested in the field of Avionics and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what life is like in the Air Wing/Aviation side of the Marine Corps. Any input from any Marines or Former Marines will be helpful. Thank you.

What kind of test is taken to become a Marine Officer Pilot?

My question is… Is this test just a more advanced version of ASVAB? Or is it aviation specific? My purpose of asking is primarily for preparation and study purposes. Also, are there any guides (I.E. books or websites) or suggestions to prepare for this?
